Here are some examples of courses that I've taught.
In this course, I will help you develop a fundamental understanding of the underlying theories, design principles, and development and evaluation practices in user experience design. You will work on projects that consist of all of the phases of design, research, and prototyping cycle for a new user interface.
Students worked on a desktop, mobile or tablet interface that helps to improve the student life, activities, or academics of 1st year GBDA students. The featured project is a carpooling application designed for students who have difficulty finding means of transportation to other campuses.

This course consists of 3 equal parts: Business, UX Design, and UX Research and is being taught by three instructors that have expertise in these areas. Students created designs for the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) Student Design Awards, a competition that challenges emerging designers to tackle real-world social, economaic, and environmental issues.
Hungryr is a grocery delivery platform for long haul truck drivers who need to maintain a healthy balanced diet. This platform connects local car owners with truck drivers who are unable to access grocery stores on their route. On the Hungryr mobile application, truck drivers can browse a plethora of nutritionist-approved recipes and select the meals they would like to prepare in the upcoming days. A corresponding list of recipe ingredients is then translated into a customizable grocery list. Upon checkout, a local Hungryr driver is notified of the order and proceeds to shop the groceries and deliver them to the truck driver at the designated truck stop.

In this course, students have the opportunity to consolidate an online ePortfolio of their body of design work. Through lectures, self-directed work, and tutorial guidance, we will first research and define your brand and create a cohesive visual identity, then develop an online portfolio website that tailors the projects from your classes, internships, day jobs, and hobbies to the type of industry and company where you want to work.
The best ePortfolios imparts a sense of personality and identity. It is clear who the site is about (personal or company brand name) and what the person or company does professionally (or aspires to do). Students’ skills and services are explicitly presented, explained, and supported by portfolio examples.
